Key information for the Change your Course program and Bobby Jones Links.

“The main idea in golf as in life, I suppose is to learn to accept what cannot be altered and to keep on doing one’s own reasoned and resolute best whether the prospect be bleak or rosy.”

— Bobby Jones

Parent’s Pledge

I pledge to support your journey in golf and life with patience, encouragement, and positivity.

I will focus on your personal growth rather than just outcomes, fostering resilience, confidence, and a love for the game.

I commit to creating a healthy balance between competition and fun, ensuring your mental well-being always comes first.

I will lead by example, demonstrating respect, integrity, and perseverance both on and off the course.

I promise to listen, uplift, and celebrate progress, no matter how big or small.

Most of all, I will be your biggest supporter, helping you develop skills that will serve you far beyond the game.

Our Core Audience

  • Clubs, Instructors, & Schools

Our goal is to create relationships with clubs, instructors, high schools, and universities that is beyond a golf program.

For clubs specifically, we view these relationships as critical partners that become a part of the program and movement itself.

Our goal is to bring an experience to your club that is unique and impactful for the mission of golf but also creates a community and discussion around proper development or course-correction with your membership.

Unique to Bobby Jones Links is the ability to being another part of the growing impact of his legacy!

  • Golfers 12-22 Years-Old

Our program is built to teach life lessons and mental techniques that best fits the age engaged in the high-risk area.

When we connect their golf experience to life, our examples and life scenarios are those that are 12-22 years old. Even in this broad group, we adjust the content from the 12-18 (high school) group versus a collegiate student athlete’s content.

We do anticipate building a junior version that can prepare the participants at an earlier age.

  • Parents!

Parent’s are an essential part of the process. We are developing touchpoints throughout an experience for parents. Whether it is a one day clinic, or a program led by the club as a certified facility, parents will receive messaging about what we are teaching and how it can be reinforced or embraced at home.

We also offer 2-Day retreats for parents to be directly in the program. This unique set up identifies the parents as “caddies” and their child as the “player.” We use the role of the caddy as a metaphor for the role of the parent in adolescence and early adulthood.

The Change Your Course App!

Our program blends live experience with a digital one. In order to maximize the connection between what the participant is learning through golf that we want them to apply to life, we created a curriculum and community platform that will be accessed by the instructor, participant, and parent.

Unique Features:

  • Module training, drills, and advancement of completed modules.

  • Badges and awards that can be earned through the program.

  • Drills and exercises that participants can work on themselves.

  • Uploaded information from the Change Your Course team on mental wellness tips, lifestyle, and current events that highlight positive stories on the use of mental focus on and off the course.

  • Community engagement with their own club or organization and to the universal community.

  • Guest speaker access to live feed interviews that will be held periodically throughout the year.

Program Cost and Revenue Opportunity

2 Day Event:

  • The first would be to select a weekend for a 2-Day experience that is led by me and our sports psychologist and president, Dr. Karla Steingraber.

  • This is a bit pricier but provides a full two-day experience and be for juniors only or juniors and parents.

  • We have availability in late April, May, and June.

  • Participants get education and training on 4 modules (ex. First Tee Jitters, Pressure Putt, Pin Seeking, and Birdies & Bogies), the 9-Hole Challenge, and an 18-hole tournament.  The maximum player participants is 16 which keeps our use of the golf course minimal.

  • The two-day Cost is $9,000 + Travel when all meals are included and the responsibility of Gen Next.  If the club or members want to handle food separately, the cost is $6,500 +travel.

  • Selling to members at $750 per person at 16 participants would generate $12,000 ($3,000 net).  (If Gen Next is covering all food expenses)

Two 1 Day Events --> Certification/ Licensing

This is our preferred method of onboarding, especially for clubs that will be joining our certification program.

  • Robert Jones Black will come to the first 1-day event that can have up to 36 kids, with discretion from the club to what that total will be.

  • A club instructor will go through three 1-hour online training sessions prior to the event and Robert and the instructor will lead the event.

  • For the second 1-Day event, the club will self-operate and a Change Your Course representative will attend for guidance and any troubleshooting.

  • After completion of the 2 events, the club would elect to obtain the license for a 12-month period for $2,500.  This allows the club to create a 6 week- 1 hour per week program or to hold 1-day programs suitable to the club and member schedule.  There is no maximum on usage of the program.

  • The first 1-day event would be $4,000 +Travel and the second event would be $2,500 and no additional travel costs.

  • Selling the first event at $350 per person at 16 participants would generate $5,600 ($1,600 net)

  • Selling the second event (no Robert Jones Black) for $250 per person at 16 participants would generate $4,400 ($1,500 net)

  • The club would pay a $2,500 licensing fee that would retro back to the first event and offer the club the use of the program for 12 months from the 1st program date.

Certification/ Licensing:

  • Clubs have the right to choose if they want to provide 1 six-hour session for 36 kids 3-4 times per year, or if they choose to run 6 one-hour sessions on a schedule.  Programs are unlimited under the certification agreement.

  • $300 per six-hour experience 4 times per year with 36 participants will generate $43,200 (net $40,700)

  • Certification also has a parent participation experience available.

A few additional notes:

  • Anyone who has paid the license prior to an event receives a 20% discount on any 1 Day Clinics or 2 Day Retreats with Robert Jones Black and Dr. Karla Steingraber.

  • We can offer discounts on the package pricing with "round up" and Point of Purchase donations from pro shop purchases.

  • All fees to Generation Next Project for the events are a tax-deductible expense in accordance with 501c3 tax law.

  • All participants receive access to the Change Your Course app with their purchase.  This is most powerful with the certification/ license program because this is where we focus on connecting what they are learning on the golf course to life scenarios.
